Placements24 is seeking a Literacy Intervention Specialist to support students with reading and writing challenges at a Kimberley school in Canada. You will identify students in need, design targeted interventions, and work with teachers, parents, and support staff to build a strong literacy support system.

You will monitor progress with data-driven methods, adjust plans, share resources with families, and stay current with best practices in literacy instruction.

Qualifications

• Requires degree in Education, specializing in Literacy or related field.
• Minimum of 4 years of teaching or literacy support experience.
• Proven experience with literacy assessment and intervention methodologies.
• Strong knowledge of phonics, reading comprehension, and writing strategies.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively with students, teachers, and parents.
