United for Literacy in Grande Prairie is hiring Reading Program Support Staff to help run a 1:1 Reading Support Program for ages 5-12, focusing on reading, writing, and comprehension. The role collaborates with schools, staff, and volunteers to schedule tutoring and track progress.

As part of the Grande Prairie team, our Support Staff facilitate the planning, delivery, and evaluation of the 1:1 Reading Support Program at local elementary schools. The program aims to improve the reading, writing, and comprehension skills of children between the ages of 5-12 years comprising of a diverse population including First Nation, Métis, and Inuit students. Reporting to the Community Coordinator, the program staff will work independently and collaboratively to support volunteers, tutor students, and complete administrative tasks.
