Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in a professional kitchen.
• Familiar with Saskatchewan cuisine staples.
• Availability full-time or part-time; Wed-Sun; morning shifts preferred.
• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Ability to multitask in a high-pressure setting.
• Attention to detail in prep and presentation.
• Flexible to adapt to new recipes and kitchen procedures.
• Strong communication with team and front-of-house staff.
• Completion of a culinary arts program or relevant certification is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook a diverse variety of menu items for pub, restaurant, room service, and events.
• Ensure dishes meet brand standards in taste, presentation, and consistency.
• Assist Lead Cook in developing new menu items and specials.
• Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment.
• Ensure kitchen areas are thoroughly cleaned and sanitized.
• Adhere to food safety and hygiene standards including proper storage and labeling.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service, especially during peak times.
• Prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently during busy periods.
• Assist with receiving and storing groceries and prepping food for future use.
