Job Title: Line Cook

Join The Drake, a renowned Canadian hospitality brand celebrating its 21st anniversary, known for its vibrant community, culture, and culinary excellence. We are seeking a passionate Line Cook to become part of our dynamic kitchen team. This role offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, focusing on producing high-quality, healthy dishes for our guests, with an emphasis on exceptional service and culinary innovation.

Responsibilities
  1. Execute menu items from start to finish, including ingredient preparation, protein butchery, cooking, and plating.
  2. Utilize seasonal ingredients while maintaining thorough product knowledge.
  3. Refine existing skills and learn new culinary techniques.
  4. Collaborate effectively with back-of-house staff.
  5. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the station.
  6. Set up, break down, and clean the assigned station properly.
  7. Follow all company, food safety, and sanitation protocols diligently.
Requirements
  • 2-4 years of experience in a fast-paced culinary environment is preferred.
  • Culinary School education is an asset.
  • Positive attitude, attention to detail, and a team-player mindset.
  • Genuine interest in food and strong work ethic.
  • Open to constructive feedback, adaptable, and eager to grow.
  • Flexible availability to work weekdays and weekends.
