Job summary

VON Canada is recruiting a Licensed Practical Nurse to deliver person-centred home and community care in Queens County, Nova Scotia. This part-time, 0.6 FTE role offers autonomy, diverse settings, and the opportunity to contribute to clients' independence and comfort in their own homes.

You’ll perform client assessments, medication administration, wound care, chronic disease management, and other essential nursing skills in collaboration with a care team; a valid driver’s license and reliable

Qualifications

• Must be licensed as an LPN in the province of practice.
• Community health experience is an asset.
• Must enjoy driving, have a valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle.
• Current and original copy of a satisfactory Vulnerable Sector Search and Child Abuse Registry Check required.
• Must be able to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
