Job summary

VON is seeking an LPN to provide in-home nursing care across Nova Scotia, delivering services to children, youth, adults and seniors. The role emphasizes autonomy, full scope practice, and ongoing learning within a supportive, non-profit organization.

Regular full-time evenings and weekends work a community-based schedule, with travel between client homes. A valid NS license, vehicle access, and required clearances ensure readiness for priority patient care.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed as an LPN in the province of practice.
• Experience in community health is an asset.
• Valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle required.
• Criminal Records Check (current and satisfactory) is required; Vulnerable Sector Search/Child Abuse Registry Check may be required.
• Must be able to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

What you’ll be doing:

Our LPNs provide medical care to children, youth, adults and seniors in their homes and other settings in communities across Nova Scotia.

• Diabetes management

• Wound care; incl. negative pressure wound therapy and complex wounds

What we need from you:

• Must be Licensed as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the province of practice
• Experience in community health an asset
