About The Role

Join our compassionate team of Licensed Practical Nurses at Baptist Housing’s beautiful Victoria Long Term Care Community The Heights at. Mt. View. In this role, you will be instrumental in delivering person-centred care, working with a dedicated team to improve the quality of life for our residents. As an LPN, you’ll:

• Collaborate with Registered Nurses (RNs) to provide comprehensive care and support for complex cases.
• Take pride in administering medications, conducting assessments, and creating individualized care plans for residents.
• Promote wellness through innovative programs that enhance both physical and emotional well-being.
• Utilize cutting-edge technology like Point-Click Care and EMAR to maintain accurate, up-to-date records, ensuring the highest standard of care.
• Lead by example, demonstrating our ministry values and servant leadership principles to build trust and positive relationships with residents, their families, and your team.

Requirements

• Licensed Practical Nursing Diploma
• Current registration in good standing with BCCNM.
• Experience in long-term care or assisted living preferred.
• Availability to work consistent shifts over the weekend.

Available Lines

Enjoy 4-hour short shifts during the day, providing medication support as an LPN. With a unique schedule of 3 days on and 3 days off, from 7 a.m. to 11 a.m., find the perfect balance between work and life while making a meaningful difference in the lives of our residents.

You possess a deep understanding of medication administration protocols, standard precaution techniques, outbreak management, and pain management strategies, among other essential elements of healthcare delivery. Compensation &Benefits

The Master Collective Compensation detailed in the Provincial BC Nurses Collective Agreement encompasses competitive vacation allowances along with extended health and dental benefits, a municipal pension plan, an employee and family assistance program, and opportunities for professional development. Level 3 LPNs are compensated at an hourly rate ranging from $32.84-41.35
