Job summary

Rush Bus Centres of Canada, part of Rush Truck Centres of Canada and Rush Enterprises, seeks a Licensed 310T Diesel Mechanic for our Elgin, ON location. This full-time role diagnoses and repairs trucks, buses, and trailers, with OHSA compliance and ongoing training.

Responsibilities include vehicle diagnostics, repairs, documentation, and safety checks. Benefits include health plans, RRSP, and quarterly bonus potential; relocation support across Ontario is available.

Qualifications

• Licensed 310T is required.
• Good communication skills and work attitude.
• Quality driven mindset.
• SAP experience is an asset.
• Valid Driver's License and a good driving record.
• Criminal Record Check.
• Driver's Abstract.
• AZ/DZ license is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose problems and repair trucks, buses, trailers, and other vehicles.
• Ensure OHSA compliance and follow Health and Safety policy.
• Read job orders, observe vehicle operation, and plan work procedures.
• Perform general and detailed repairs of engines and components.
• Document work performed and parts used.
• Overhaul gas or diesel engines.
• Check safety devices and tighten/adjust as needed.
• Attend training and stay current with factory bulletins.
• Maintain a safe, clean work environment.
