Rush Truck Centres of Canada is seeking a Licensed or Apprentice Diesel Mechanic Level 3/Technician for our Pembroke dealership at 17 Brandon Ave, Pembroke, ON. This full-time position reports to the Service Manager and involves diagnosing problems and repairing trucks, buses, and trailers in a climate-controlled shop.

Responsibilities include OHSA compliance, vehicle diagnostics, engine overhaul, safety inspections, and documenting work.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose problems and repair trucks, buses and trailers in an air-conditioned shop.
• Read job orders and listen to the vehicle to determine malfunctions and plan work procedures.
• Perform general and detailed repairs of engines and components.
• Document work performed and report findings.
• Overhaul gas or diesel engines as needed.
• Inspect and adjust safety devices and guards on trucks.
