McMillan has an exciting contract opportunity as a full-time, bilingual, Legal Administrative Assistant in our Montréal office.
You will be a key addition to the fast-paced Litigation team, maximizing your strong skills in Microsoft Office and strong attention to detail. You will be involved in a wide variety of tasks, including:
The legal professionals in this group have document intensive practices with multiple priorities and tight deadlines.
You have established yourself as a key resource with your experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PPT). You also have legal experience in a law firm environment as a Legal Administrative Assistant and are familiar with a variety of practice areas.
You have strong administrative, organizational, and interpersonal skills (both oral and written). You are proactive, detail-oriented, and able to effectively meet deadlines. You work well independently and in a team setting and provide an exceptional level of client service. The candidate must have a proactive and flexible attitude as well as keen attention to detail including thorough proofreading skills in both languages. Candidates should be flexible with respect to working overtime on an as-needed basis.
The ideal candidate will have five years’ experience and possess a good working knowledge of The Quebec Civil Code of Procedure.
