Role Summary

The Senior Administrative Officer is responsible for supporting departmental operations through various administrative duties, including Mortgage Funding tasks. The role involves responding to internal and external client inquiries and ensuring high-quality customer service aligned with Laurentian Bank’s standards.

Responsibilities
  1. Process transactions related to new Mortgage files, including funding, final reports, and appraisal fee payments.
  2. Ensure all transactions are completed accurately and in accordance with service standards.
  3. Maintain productivity and efficiency.
  4. Reconcile and verify data in funding files to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  5. Respond to inquiries from clients and escalate issues as necessary.
  6. Recommend process improvements to management.
  7. Stay updated on policies and procedural changes.
  8. Participate in special projects and perform other tasks as required.
Qualifications
  1. Post-secondary degree or diploma in Business or related field.
  2. 2-3 years of experience in administration or processing within a financial institution.
  3. Strong analytical and investigative skills.
  4. Attention to detail and accuracy.
  5. Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  6. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  7. Customer service oriented with the ability to work under high volume and tight deadlines.
  8. Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  9. Bilingual in French and English, both written and verbal.
