Job summary

Doane Grant Thornton is seeking a Learning Technology & Operations Manager to elevate the digital learner experience. You will lead a high-performing L&D team, optimize core systems, and shape a multi-year roadmap aligned with firm priorities.

You’ll work with IT to ensure secure, scalable data governance and leverage analytics to guide platform improvements. This role blends leadership with technical system optimization in a professional services environment.

Qualifications

• Completed post-secondary education, professional certification or equivalent in training and development / instructional design, project management, or process design.
• 3+ years’ experience in a learning technology administration/leadership role, with LMS/LXP, SSO, CSS knowledge.
• 2+ years’ experience as a people manager.
• Certifications in Design Thinking, Change Management, Project Management, Lean/Six Sigma, or Agile would be an asset.
• Knowledge of various learning content tools and modalities (ILT, e-learning, videos, podcasts, documents, etc.).
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Background in accounting or professional services would be beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a high performing learning operations team.
• Ensure the L&D team has deep expertise of core learning systems (LMS/LXP) for a seamless digital learning experience.
• Contribute to a multi-year roadmap aligned with L&D strategy and firm priorities.
• Serve as SME on core learning systems, driving adoption and process improvements.
• Use learning analytics and system data to identify opportunities and guide enhancements.
• Optimize workflows and configurations with a process-improvement mindset.
• Collaborate with IT to ensure data governance and security of learning data.
• Evolve governance and standards via data structures, templates, and workflows.
• Take on additional learning and development tasks as assigned.
