The Learning & Development (L&D) Manager is responsible for designing, implementing, and evaluating training programs to improve employee skills, performance, productivity, and knowledge. This role supports organizational goals by promoting a culture of continuous learning and professional development through learning, engagement, and employee communications. A key focus will be developing and managing digital learning content related to Product, Sales, Customer Service, Brand, Health & Safety, Compliance, Diversity & Inclusion, and Well-being. The role ensures accessible and impactful learning resources to meet diverse employee needs.

Key Responsibilities → How You’ll Make an Impact

Training Design & Delivery:

  • Develop a learning roadmap aligned with strategic business objectives.
  • Design and deliver training programs that support organizational goals and employee development, partnering with HR and leaders.
  • Conduct needs analyses to identify skill gaps and propose tailored learning solutions.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to create, review, and revise training materials, valuing diverse input.

Tools and Technology:

  • Create, curate, and manage eLearning modules, videos, and digital content using platforms like Yoobic, Articulate 360, Adobe Captivate, etc.
  • Manage the Yoobic system, including enrollment, troubleshooting, and data accuracy.
  • Work with SMEs to ensure content relevance and accuracy.
  • Design engaging, interactive training experiences applying adult learning principles.
  • Support digitization of employee resources related to roles and responsibilities.

Learning, Engagement, and Communications:

  • Implement blended learning approaches combining digital, in-person, and virtual training.
  • Create engaging learning pathways to promote continuous learning culture.
  • Leverage technology for employee engagement and communication efforts.
  • Partner with HR, Retail, and Product teams to develop communication and engagement content.

Assessment & Feedback:

  • Develop assessments and evaluations to measure training effectiveness.
  • Gather feedback to continuously improve programs.

Qualifications & Experience → The Skills You Bring

  • Degree in Human Resources, Learning & Development, or related field.
  • 3-5 years in L&D or similar roles.
  • Experience with eLearning tools, LMS, and content creation platforms.
  • Familiarity with Yoobic is an asset.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and project management skills.
  • Advanced MS Office skills.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Suite, including Premiere Pro, Photoshop, and Illustrator; video editing skills required.
  • Strong research and analytical skills to develop engaging, practical training solutions.
  • Experience with various delivery methods (virtual, hands-on, instructor-led, remote).

Preferred Skills

  • Certifications in instructional design, eLearning, or related fields (e.g., CPLP, CPTD).
  • Experience with gamification, microlearning, or mobile learning solutions.
  • Knowledge of adult learning theories and best practices.
