Your Mission:

  • Lead the learning function and the implementation of BioScript’s Learning & Development Strategy
  • Hire and oversee training and L&D Specialists; provide coaching, feedback, and development opportunities to enhance team capabilities and engagement
  • Designs and develops learning solutions using a variety of training methodologies and learning technologies utilizing best in class approaches to ensure transfer of learning.
  • Lead the project management of the learning aspects of critical BioScript projects
  • Support the implementation and ongoing management of the onboarding program
  • Create structures and processes to determine intake, learning support and prioritization based on company direction and team capacity
  • Use a wide range of data sources and metrics to evaluate program effectiveness, identify trends, and recommend improvements or new learning strategies
  • Source learning partnerships and maintain strong vendor relationships
  • Oversees and creates content for our Learning platform (UKG) and collaborates and consults with the P&E Shared Services team in support
  • Ensure compliance with governance, regulatory, and ethical standards across all learning initiatives
  • Proactively participates in team events and meetings. Is a key contributor to creating a positive team environment and supporting leadership

What You Bring to the Table:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Education, Adult Learning or a related field; professional certification (e.g., CPTD, CTDP) is an asset
  • 5-7 years of progressive experience in learning and development, with a minimum of 3 years in a people management role
  • Deep understanding of adult learning principles, instructional design, and performance consulting
  • Proven experience in designing, implementing, and evaluating learning strategies and performance initiatives to align with business goals and cultural priorities in a corporate or regulated environment
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing vendor relationships in the development and delivery of learning solutions
  • Strong leadership capabilities with a track record of inspiring and developing high-performing teams through coaching and mentoring
  • Experience handling escalations, managing change, and navigating ambiguity in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong knowledge of learning technologies, e-learning tools, and virtual facilitation methods
  • Familiarity with learning management systems (e.g., UKG Pro Learning) and analytics dashboards is a plus
  • Strong critical thinking, problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to anticipate issues and act proactively
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills across all levels of the organization
  • Demonstrated ability to manage large, transformational or complex programs with multiple stakeholders, deliverables, timelines and competing priorities;
  • Strong project management skills and effective execution skills to ensure successful delivery/implementation of learning initiatives and programs;
  • Early adopter of new trends, technologies and methods for delivering training to a variety of learners and learning types
  • Highly computer literate with proficiency in MS Office and related business and communication tools;
  • Prosci or change management certification is an asset

Compensation: At BioScript, your base pay is one part of your total compensation package and is determined within a range. Our pay ranges are based on the local cost of labor benchmarks for each specific role, level, and geographic location.
