Job summary

Suncor Energy Inc. in Calgary seeks a Learning Advisor to support In Situ growth projects, partnering with clients to identify training gaps and design effective learning solutions.

The role leads high-impact projects, guides regulatory compliance and continuous improvement initiatives, and requires strong facilitation, communication, and project-management skills. This is an office-based role with occasional site travel.

Qualifications

• 6 years of applicable work experience.
• Post secondary education that compliments the requirements of the role.
• Ability to support change management and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Excellent interpersonal, teamwork, and communication skills with the ability to work independently.
• Solid understanding of project management methodologies and processes.
• Working knowledge of business financials.
• Self-starter with strong attention to detail, able to take initiative and ensure accuracy in all aspects of work.
• Strong facilitation skills required to support productive, inclusive discussions and clear outcomes.

Location and other key details:

This is an office-based role. You will work out of the Calgary head office, located in the Suncor Energy Centre at 150-6th Ave S.W. Significant travel to site will be required at times during the projects with the possibility of the role becoming site based in the future.

Hours of work are a regular 40-hour work week, Monday to Friday, with the potential for extended work hours based on business needs.
