Job summary

Suncor Energy in Calgary is seeking a Learning Advisor to support our In Situ growth projects. You will partner with clients to identify training gaps, design strategic learning solutions, and lead high-impact projects while influencing regulatory compliance and continuous improvement initiatives.

You will collaborate with teams to translate operational needs into effective learning programs, develop documentation, and drive outcomes through structured facilitation and analytic skills.

Qualifications

• 6 years of applicable work experience
• Post secondary education that complements the requirements of the role
• Ability to support change management and continuous improvement initiatives
• Excellent interpersonal, teamwork, and communication skills with the ability to work independently
• Solid understanding of project management methodologies and processes
• Working knowledge of business financials
• Self-starter with strong attention to detail, able to take initiative and ensure accuracy in all aspects of work
• Strong facilitation skills to support productive, inclusive discussions and clear outcomes

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality specialized service, support, and advice to clients
• Translate operational requirements into learning solutions
• Identify training gaps across business units and develop effective solutions
• Lead special projects requiring analytical, research, and leadership skills
