Job summary

Suncor is hiring a Learning Advisor to support In Situ growth projects from our Calgary head office. You will identify training gaps, design learning solutions, and lead high-impact projects while ensuring regulatory compliance and continuous improvement initiatives.

Travel to sites will be required at times as projects evolve. The role emphasizes collaboration with clients, strategizing, and delivering high-quality learning outcomes to enable teams to grow, adapt, and succeed in a dynamic

Qualifications

• 6 years of applicable work experience.
• Post secondary education that compliments the requirements of the role.
• Ability to support change management and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Excellent interpersonal, teamwork, and communication skills with the ability to work independently.
• Solid understanding of project management methodologies and processes.
• Working knowledge of business financials.
• Self-starter with strong attention to detail, able to take initiative and ensure accuracy in all aspects of work.
• Strong facilitation skills required to support productive, inclusive discussions and clear outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality specialized service, support, and advice.
• Resolve complex issues with sound judgement.
• Partner with clients to translate operational requirements into learning solutions.
• Identify training gaps across business units and develop solutions to fix them.
• Lead special projects requiring strong analytical, research, and leadership skills.
• Develop detailed documentation requiring expert knowledge of specialized processes and procedures.
• Develop and recommend regulatory compliance strategies at the regional or business unit level.
