Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Senior Estimator to lead large multi-discipline cost estimates and project schedules for hydroelectric and power infrastructure initiatives. You will coordinate discipline estimators, develop comprehensive cost estimates, and interface with clients and stakeholders across domestic and international projects.

The role requires extensive estimating experience, proficiency with major software platforms, and a proven ability to manage complex projects while traveling as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years in estimating and construction roles.
• Experience estimating hydroelectric, utility, or power infrastructure projects.
• Proficiency with major estimating platforms (InEight, Sage Timberline, etc.).
• Strong client-facing skills and ability to lead multi-discipline teams.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate development of multi-discipline cost estimates and schedules.
• Coordinate input from estimating disciplines into a single cost estimate.
• Prepare basis of cost estimate reports for end users.
• Identify risks and opportunities and support risk analyses.
• Engage with clients and stakeholders to defend estimates.
