Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Senior Estimator to lead multi-discipline cost estimates and construction schedules for large-scale water infrastructure projects. You will coordinate teams of estimators and engineers across disciplines, ensuring accurate, defensible estimates for projects ranging from hydropower plants to water treatment facilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of combined experience in estimating and construction roles.
• Experience with hydropower, water treatment, wastewater, or major water infrastructure projects.
• Ability to travel for site reconnaissance (domestic and some international travel).
• Experience leading large, multi-discipline cost estimates and coordinating teams.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate development of multi-discipline cost estimates and schedules.
• Develop detailed estimates for water treatment, pumping stations, pipelines, dams, hydropower facilities, and related infrastructure.
• Coordinate input parameters and validate material takeoffs and construction quantities.
• Prepare estimate execution plans, labor work plans, and basis of estimate reports.
• Interface with management and clients to ensure scope alignment and defensible estimates.
