Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, install, test, repair, and maintain electrical systems related to solar installations
  • Interpret blueprints, sketches, and specifications for layout and installation of systems
  • Measure, cut, thread, and install conduits, raceways, and enclosures for wiring systems
  • Splice, terminate, and connect electrical conductors and devices
  • Lead troubleshooting efforts and fault diagnosis of electrical systems and solar arrays
  • Test electrical and electronic equipment for proper operation and code compliance
  • Supervise and support junior electricians and apprentices on site
  • Ensure all work complies with Ontario Electrical Safety Code and company safety standards
