Job summary

Health Sciences Association of Alberta in Edmonton is seeking two full-time, permanent Labour Relations Officers to provide labour relations advice and advocacy to our membership. The successful applicants will support arbitration processes, facilitate workshops, mentor stewards, and may lead or assist with collective bargaining across Alberta.

You will work with a dedicated team, travelling as required, to ensure effective representation and timely resolution of workplace issues in a dynamic

Qualifications

• Three years’ experience at the intermediate level in Labour Relations, Industrial Relations, Human Resources, or related background.
• An equivalent combination of education, training, and experience will be considered.
• Preference will be given to applicants with experience with grievance and arbitration litigation.

Responsibilities

• Provide Labour relations advice and advocacy to HSAA membership.
• May be assigned to arbitrations, facilitate workshops, mentor stewards, and oversee stewards.
• May lead or assist with collective bargaining and travel throughout Alberta.
