Alberta Precision Labs is seeking a Medical Laboratory Assistant I to join the Strathmore PSC in a fast-paced public-facing setting. You will provide high quality service to clients of the clinical laboratory and perform venipuncture and ECGs as part of processing specimens.
Completion of an accredited MLA program and ECG/phlebotomy certification are required; preference for candidates with phlebotomy experience.

As a Medical Laboratory Assistant I, you will provide high quality service to clients of the clinical laboratory in an effective, efficient and safe manner. You will be responsible for a variety of laboratory functions including procurement, handling, processing, dispatching and testing of specimens, performing procedures and reporting results.
Completion of an accredited Medical Laboratory Assistant program or equivalent.
Additional Required Qualifications:Previous Phlebotomy experience and ECG Certification
Preferred Qualifications:At least 2 years of recent phlebotomy experience. ECG experience. At least 6 months of experience in a Patient Service Centre
