Job summary

Alberta Precision Labs (APL) is seeking a Medical Laboratory Assistant I to join the Camrose PSC on a regular part-time basis. You will work in a fast-paced, public-facing lab setting handling specimens, performing ECGs, and contributing to accurate test reporting.

The role requires completion of an accredited MLA program, phlebotomy and ECG certification, with preferred 2 years of phlebotomy experience. A satisfactory security check is required.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Medical Laboratory Assistant program or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy experience and ECG certification required.
• Preferred: 2 years of recent phlebotomy experience and ECG experience.

Alberta Precision Labs (APL) is looking for a Medical Laboratory Assistant I to work in a fast-paced, public-facing Patient Service Centre (PSC). As a Medical Laboratory Assistant I, you will be responsible for a variety of laboratory functions including procurement, handling, processing, dispatching and testing of specimens, and performing ECGs on registered outpatients and community patients and monitor wait times to ensure we are providing best service to our patients. Required Qualifications:
