Job summary

Dynacare is seeking a Laboratory Assistant - LHSC (Float) to support South Okanagan LHSC coverage in Osoyoos. The role focuses on processing blood samples and related specimens, accurate data entry, and delivering compassionate patient service in a fast-paced environment.

The position is full-time (37.5 h/week) with 7:30 am–3:00 pm hours, onsite at multiple LHSC sites in the South Okanagan. Applicants must meet CSMLS/BCSLS requirements or MLA/MLT qualifications, with at least 1 year of

Qualifications

• CSMLS/BCSLS certification or MLA program completion required.
• Bachelor degree in related science also considered.
• Minimum 1 year patient-facing phlebotomy experience.
• Strong English communication and customer-focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Process blood samples and other laboratory specimens accurately.
• Enter requisitions and results in a timely manner.
• Provide excellent patient-centered customer service.
• Perform venipuncture and collect ECGs as needed.
• Maintain SOP compliance and data integrity.
