Job summary

Vast Auto Distribution is seeking a Manager of Learning & Development to lead learning programs, optimize the LMS, and coordinate content development across the organization. You will work with instructional designers, SMEs, operations leaders, and vendors to ensure programs stay aligned with business needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Business, Human Resources, Organizational Development, Education, Learning & Development, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in Learning & Development, Training Operations, Learning Technology, Program Management, or related field.
• 2+ years of leadership or project management experience.
• Experience administering or supporting a Learning Management System.
• Experience coordinating training programs, learning projects, or content development initiatives.
• Strong project management, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Bilingual in French and English (verbal and written).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage planning, coordination, and execution of learning and development programs.
• Support implementation of learning strategies established by L&D leadership.
• Develop project plans, timelines, milestones, and communication plans.
• Coordinate cross-functional activities to deliver training programs.
• Monitor progress, identify risks, and escalate as needed.
• Maintain program documentation, schedules, and status reporting.
• Partner with leaders to understand training needs and support solutions.
• Translate operational priorities into a Canada learning roadmap with defined metrics.
• Act as the Canada point of contact, coordinating with Springfield L&D for global governance.
