Job summary

Vast Auto Distribution seeks a Manager of Learning & Development to lead learning programs and optimize the LMS. You will work with instructional designers, operations leaders, and vendors to keep content current and aligned with business needs.

Responsibilities include managing LMS functionality, developing reports, and driving continuous improvement in learning experiences. The role requires leadership, cybersecurity and analytics acumen within a fast-paced distribution environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in business, HR, OD, education, L&D, or related field.
• 5+ years in Learning & Development, Training Operations, Learning Technology, or related field.
• 2+ years of leadership or project management experience.
• Experience administering or supporting a Learning Management System.
• Experience coordinating training programs, learning projects, or content development initiatives.
• Strong project management, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Bilingual in French and English (verbal and written).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage planning, coordination, and execution of learning programs and initiatives.
• Support learning strategies set by L&D leadership.
• Develop project plans, timelines, milestones, and communication plans.
• Coordinate cross-functional activities to deliver training programs.
• Monitor progress, identify risks, and escalate issues when necessary.
• Maintain program documentation, schedules, and status reporting.
• Partner with leaders to understand training needs and support solutions.
• Translate operational priorities into a Canada learning roadmap with metrics.
• Act as the single point of contact for learning in Canada and align with global governance.
