Qualicare Homecare BC is seeking Health Care Aides to join our home care team in Burnaby, with a special focus on supporting Korean-speaking clients in the community. The HCAs provide essential personal care, companionship, and adhere to care plans under supervision of the Care Coordinator.

Applicants must have a Health Care Aide Certificate (or equivalent), CPR/First Aid, and comfort traveling to client homes.

Qualifications

• Health Care Aide Certificate or equivalent required.
• Fluency in Korean and conversational English.
• Prior caregiving experience preferred.
• Current CPR/First Aid training or willingness to obtain.
• CRC for Vulnerable Sector clearance or willingness to obtain.
• Ability to travel to client homes in the local area.

Job Summary

The Home Caregiver/HCA is an essential member of our home care team who works under the supervision of the Care Coordinator and performs various personal care services as necessary to meet the client’s needs. Qualicare Homecare, BC has immediate openings for Health Care Aides/Caregivers across BC, with a specific focus on supporting Korean-speaking clients in Burnaby and surrounding communities! Many of our local clients and families communicate best in Korean. This role allows you to make a deep, meaningful connection by providing culturally comfortable, language‑matched care right in your community.

Qualifications

• Fluency in Korean alongside conversational English
• Prior experience as a Caregiver or Health Care Aide required
• Health Care Aide Certificate or equivalent (foreign-trained nurse, nursing student preferred)
• Current CPR / First Aid training or willingness to obtain
• CRC for Vulnerable Sector (valid for 5 years) or willingness to obtain
• Ability to travel to client homes in the local area
• Access to Internet / smart phone with data
