Job summary

Qualicare Homecare, BC is looking for Health Care Aides / Caregivers to support Korean-speaking clients across BC. The role focuses on culturally comfortable, language-matched care in clients' homes, with flexible shifts and ongoing opportunities to build strong client relationships.

Ideal candidates have caregiver experience, a Health Care Aide certificate or equivalent, CPR/First Aid, and CRC clearance or willingness to obtain. Travel to local client homes is required.

Qualifications

• Fluency in Korean alongside conversational English.
• Prior experience as a Caregiver or Health Care Aide required.
• Health Care Aide Certificate or equivalent (foreign-trained nurse or nursing student preferred).
• Current CPR / First Aid training or willingness to obtain.
• CRC for Vulnerable Sector (valid for 5 years) or willingness to obtain.
• Ability to travel to client homes in the local area.
• Access to Internet / smartphone with data.

Responsibilities

• Assistance with personal care and hygiene.
• Meal Preparation tailored to client preferences.
• Light Housekeeping.
• Accompany clients on outings.
• Shopping and errands.
• Medication Assist / Reminders.
• Ambulation and transporting of clients.
• Provide companionship and converse fluently in Korean.
