Kinesiologist- Lifemark Physiotherapy Surrey City Centre

Surrey, BC

This is at the heart of everything we do, and we are seeking a Kinesiologist at Lifemark Physiotherapy Surrey City Centre to work in our Occupational Rehabilitation program.

Our ideal candidate is a clinician who enjoys working on a team, connecting with clients and has a passion for lifelong learning.

Location: Surrey, BC

Employment Type: Part-Time

Pay Rate: 40%-45% Fee for Service

In this role you will:
  • Perform biomechanical, fitness, and functional assessments under the mentorship and direction of a physiotherapist and occupational therapist
  • Design, implement and supervise graded exercise, work conditioning and/or work hardening programs
  • Perform reassessment of client progress through functional testing
  • Record functional and subjective findings in client charts on a regular basis
  • Work cooperatively with clients to set and achieve functional goals
  • Conduct group education lectures and regular one-on-one education to clients
  • Complete functional components of reports for initial, progress and discharge
  • Complete job site visits and create gradual return to work plans

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of a university Kinesiology degree program
  • Registration with BC Association of Kinesiologists (BCAK)
  • Experience working in a Return to Work Program
