Job summary

The Ottawa-Carleton District School Board is seeking a Registered Early Childhood Educator to join its 10-month Early Learning Program. Qualifications

• Two-year ECE college program or equivalent is required.
• Registration with the Ontario College of Early Childhood Educators in good standing is required.
• Minimum of one year of child care experience.
• Valid First Aid/CPR certification.
• Immunization records with MMR and Tdap, or chicken pox history/vaccine.
• Police Records Check for Vulnerable Sector within the last 6 months for new OCDSB employees.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the classroom teacher to provide high-quality play-based education.
• Lead an extended before/after-school program for OCDSB students.
• Support Junior and Senior Kindergarten students in a full-day Early Learning Program.
• Work with diverse families and staff, respecting multilingual needs where applicable.
