The Ottawa-Carleton District School Board invites applications for a Casual Early Childhood Educator (ECE) to support play-based learning in a full-day Early Learning Program for Junior and Senior Kindergarten students. Qualifications

• Two-year community college program in Early Childhood Education
• Registration with the Ontario College of Early Childhood Educators (or in progress)
• Minimum of one year of child care experience
• First Aid certification/CPR required

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the classroom teacher to provide high-quality, play-based education for Junior and Senior Kindergarten students.
• May lead an extended day program (before and/or after school) at designated sites.
