Placements24 is seeking an experienced Insurance Sales Manager to lead the Kimberley team, driving sales performance and developing sales strategies on-site. The role demands strong leadership, deep knowledge of the South African insurance market, and the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing sales force.

You will recruit, train, and manage agents, monitor metrics, and ensure regulatory compliance while collaborating with marketing and product teams to align initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, or related field.
• 5+ years of sales experience with at least 2 years in sales management in the insurance industry.
• Proven track record of leading and motivating teams.
• Knowledge of South African insurance market and FAIS qualifications.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Willingness to travel within the Northern Cape.
• Proficiency in CRM software.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and motivate a team of insurance sales agents to achieve individual and team sales objectives.
• Develop and implement effective sales strategies and plans to drive revenue growth and market share.
• Monitor sales performance metrics, analyze trends, and provide regular reports to senior management.
• Recruit, train, and onboard new sales agents, ensuring they are equipped with the necessary product knowledge and sales skills.
• Foster a high-performance sales culture focused on customer satisfaction and ethical sales practices.
• Manage the sales pipeline, ensuring effective lead generation and conversion processes.
• Collaborate with marketing and product development teams to align sales efforts with company initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and company policies within the sales team.
• Manage team budgets and resources effectively.
• Resolve escalated customer issues and provide support to the sales team as needed.
