Value Buds is a leading cannabis retailer seeking a Keyholder / Shift Lead to greet customers, advise on products, and support daily store operations. You will help with merchandising, ensure accurate ID checks, and assist teammates during busy shifts.

A strong service mindset and reliability are essential. The role requires cannabis education certification and the ability to stand for extended periods while assisting customers and processing transactions.

Qualifications

• Previous retail, customer service, or hospitality experience.
• Strong communication and a customer‑first attitude.
• Cannabis selling certification (Selling It Right, SellSafe, CRTP, CRWTP, or CanSell).

Responsibilities

• Create a welcoming experience for every customer.

• Operate the POS, handle payments, and issue receipts.
• Restock shelves, receive deliveries, and complete basic inventory checks.

Keyholder / Shift Lead – Cannabis Retail

We’re looking for a motivated and dependable Keyholder to join our team. As a Keyholder, you’ll be the face of our brand, providing exceptional service while helping customers navigate the exciting world of cannabis. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys leading by example, taking ownership during their shifts, and supporting both customers and teammates in a fast-paced setting.

What You’ll Do

About You

• Minimum age requirement based on province (18/19+)


• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs


• Eligible to pass a Criminal Record Check
