Job summary

Inspired Cannabis is seeking a Part-time Keyholder to keep the store running smoothly, lead on-shift, and deliver high-quality customer experiences in a fast-paced cannabis retail environment. You’ll model excellent service, coach teammates, and help set the standard for store presentation.

Qualifications

• Minimum age as per provincial regulations (typically 19+)
• Flexible availability including evenings and weekends
• 2+ years in retail, hospitality, or customer-facing role; leadership/keyholder experience preferred
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills, with ability to coach and support team members
• Demonstrates ownership and accountability, leads by example to support team performance and engagement
• Adaptable to changing priorities and able to communicate clearly to address issues proactively
• Able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 20 lbs
• Provincial cannabis certification (e.g., CannSell or equivalent) required
• Pre-employment criminal record check completed successfully

Responsibilities

• Deliver and model consistent, high-quality customer service, including addressing and resolving escalations.
• Support team members in providing informed and responsible cannabis education.
• Support the achievement of individual and store sales targets.
• Coach team members on product recommendations and sales techniques.
• Identify opportunities to improve sales performance and customer retention.
• Maintain strong knowledge of products, categories, and regulations, and support ongoing team education.
• Execute opening and closing procedures, including cash management.
• Oversee daily store operations and ensure compliance with all regulations and policies.
• Maintain store standards, including cleanliness, merchandising, and organization.
• Provide on-shift leadership and direction to team members.
• Support the training and onboarding of new employees.
• Foster a positive, accountable, and team-oriented work environment.
