Job summary

FOUR20 Premium Market in Alberta is seeking personable team members who care about cannabis culture and the community. You will provide exceptional customer service, educate customers about products, and help grow our store’s reputation for knowledge and care.

Roles involve using Lightspeed POS, potential evening/weekend shifts, and contributing to a safe, inclusive in-store environment across multiple locations. Stand for long periods and lift up to 25 lbs as part of duties.

Qualifications

• Retail experience required.
• Strong customer service mindset and communication skills.
• Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding customer service by understanding customer needs and making product recommendations.
• Work as part of a team to uphold FOUR20 culture and ensure a safe space for customers and employees.
• Manage POS transactions, including sales, voids, discounts and promotions (Lightspeed POS).
• Handle opening and closing procedures of the store.
• Be adaptable and resolve issues promptly and professionally.
• Learn about cannabis products and educate customers on varieties and accessories.
• Maintain accurate inventory counts and reporting.
• Adhere to all regulatory guidelines and company policies.
• Maintain independence and contribute to merchandising and stocking.

Essential Functions

• Provide outstanding customer service by building baskets based on customers needs and recommendations

• Manage POS systems for transactions: sales, voids, discounts and promotions (Lightspeed POS)
• Responsible for open and close procedures of the store
• Be problem solvers: flexible with unforeseen situations and resolve any issues promptly and professionally
• Curious mindset; continuous learning of Cannabis products, strains, categories and accessories
• Maintain accurate inventory counts and reporting
• Adhering to all regulatory guidelines, company policies and procedures

• Merchandising and stocking, keeping product levels maintained

• Must be of legal age and hold a license in the province of the position *Non-negotiable*

• Familiarity with point of sale (POS) systems
• Time Management Skills: Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks
• Eager to learn and develop
• Ability to work at multiple locations will allow for more hours and development
• Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends and holidays
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time
• Must be physically able to pull, push and carry up to 25 lbs
