The Role

At Inspired Cannabis, Keyholders are trusted on-shift leaders — the ones who keep the store running smoothly, model great customer experiences, and help the team succeed even when things get busy.

In this role, our core values show up in the way you lead: raising the bar by noticing what’s needed and setting the standard for service and store presentation; being people-powered by supporting and coaching teammates with care and respect; owning it by taking responsibility for store operations, compliance, and outcomes; riding the wave by staying calm and adaptable when priorities shift; and winning together by sharing credit, celebrating wins, and bringing energy to every shift.

If you’re energized by leadership, problem-solving, mentoring others, and keeping a fast-paced retail environment running like clockwork, this could be a great fit.

  • Identify opportunities to improve sales performance and customer retention.
  • Maintain strong knowledge of products, categories, and regulations, and support ongoing team education.
  • Execute opening and closing procedures, including cash management.
  • Oversee daily store operations and ensure compliance with all regulations and policies.
  • Maintain store standards, including cleanliness, merchandising, and organization.
  • Provide on-shift leadership and direction to team members.
  • Support the training and onboarding of new employees.
  • Foster a positive, accountable, and team-oriented work environment.

  • Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends.

  • Demonstrates ownership and accountability, and leads by example to support team performance and engagement.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and communicate clearly to address issues proactively.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and safely lift up to 20 lbs.
  • Provincial cannabis certification (e.g., CannSell or equivalent) required.
  • Successful completion of a pre-employment criminal record check.
