Job summary

Value Buds Lloydminster is seeking a motivated Keyholder/Shift Lead to provide exceptional customer service and lead by example in a fast-paced cannabis retail setting.

You will educate customers on products, oversee daily operations, operate the POS, and ensure strict compliance with cannabis regulations. This role suits a dependable team player with retail or hospitality experience and a can-do attitude.

Qualifications

• Retail, customer service, or hospitality experience.
• Strong communication and a customer-first attitude.
• Cannabis selling certification (Selling It Right, SellSafe, CRTP, CRWTP, or CanSell).
• Minimum age requirement (18/19+ depending on province).
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs.
• Eligible to pass a Criminal Record Check.

Responsibilities

• Create a welcoming experience for every customer.
• Provide product recommendations and cannabis education.
• Support daily operations including merchandising and store upkeep.
• Operate the POS, handle payments, and issue receipts.
• Restock shelves, receive deliveries, and complete basic inventory checks.
• Ensure compliance with cannabis regulations, including ID verification.

We’re looking for a motivated and dependable Keyholder to join our team. As a Keyholder, you’ll be the face of our brand, providing exceptional service while helping customers navigate the exciting world of cannabis. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys leading by example, taking ownership during their shifts, and supporting both customers and teammates in a fast-paced setting.

What You’ll Do
