QE Home in Calgary is seeking a Keyholder to lead the team, mentor staff, and ensure smooth daily operations while delivering exceptional guest experiences.

You'll stay updated on product features and promotions, maintain visual standards, and collaborate with teammates to hit sales goals. Open availability and a passion for home décor help drive store success.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in retail with leadership or supervisory experience.
• Proven ability to mentor teammates and lead by example.
• Strong guest service focus and problem solving.
• Comfortable handling keys, cash, and store security responsibilities.
• Flexible availability including days, evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager and Assistant Manager in leading the team to meet store objectives.
• Act as a role model, providing guidance, training and support to staff.
• Deliver exceptional, personalized service to every guest.
• Maintain merchandising and visual standards; keep store welcoming.
• Open/close, restock, process transactions, and support daily operations.
• Stay informed on product features, benefits and promotions.

What You’ll Be Working On

• Assisting the Store Manager and Assistant Manager in leading the team and achieving store objectives.

• Acting as a role model for your team members, providing guidance, training, and support to help them succeed.

• Providingexceptional, personalized service to everyguestwho walks through the door.

• Maintainingmerchandising and visual standards to ensure a clean, welcoming environment.

• Assistingwith daily store operations, including opening and closing, restocking, and processing transactions.

• Stayingup to date on product features, benefits, and promotions.

• Collaboratingwith team members to meet sales goals and create a supportive team atmosphere.

• Handlingguestconcerns and escalations with professionalism and empathy.

The Physical Side of the Role

• Ability to stand for up to 8 hours.

• Ability to lift or carry up to 50 lbs.

• Ability to shift, push, reach, stretch, twist, bend, pull or maneuver weight over 50 lbsto fold, stock and build or display merchandise. In addition, you may be required to change beds including moving a mattress to put on a bed skirt.

• Comfortable climbingladders formerch merchandising and stock.

• 2+ yearsof retail orguestservice experience, withdemonstratedleadership or supervisory experience preferred.

• Demonstrated ability to handle keys, cash, and store security responsibilities.
