DHL Global Forwarding (DGF) is currently seeking a bilingual highly motivated and experienced Business Development Key Account Manager! As a Key Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing and growing strategic national and global accounts.

IN THIS JOB YOU WILL:

  1. Develop and execute strategic account plans to maximize business opportunities and achieve sales targets.
  2. Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders at customer organizations, including procurement managers, supply chain directors, and executives.
  3. Identify and understand customer needs, and proactively provide innovative logistics solutions to meet those needs.
  4. Collaborate with internal teams such as operations, customer service, and pricing to ensure smooth execution of customer requirements.
  5. Conduct regular business reviews with customers to assess performance, address any concerns, and identify growth opportunities.
  6. Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitors' activities to identify potential risks and opportunities.
  7. Prepare and deliver professional presentations and proposals to clients, showcasing DGF's capabilities and value proposition.
  8. Collect relevant customer information for the RFI/RFP/RFQ and prepare documents for customer implementation to ensure proper operational handover and implementation to meet customer expectations (SLA's & SOP's).

YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING QUALITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  1. Minimum of 5 years of experience in key account management.
  2. Strong knowledge of the automotive market, including key players, industry regulations, and logistics requirements.
  3. Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale accounts and achieving sales targets.
  4. Excellent bilingual communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers.
  5. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a strategic mindset.
  6. Proficiency in MS Office applications, particularly PowerPoint and Excel.
  7. Domestic and international travel as required.
