The Salvation Army Okanagan Central is seeking a Kettle Assistant for the Christmas Kettle Campaign, a short-term contract overseeing kettle counting, deposits, and statistics for each location.
You will train and supervise volunteers, ensure secure cash handling, and coordinate deposits with Brinks pickup when needed.
Qualifications include high school, 1 year customer service, and money handling experience; valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle are required.

POsition Purpose summary: The Salvation Army Christmas Kettle Campaign is part of a century old tradition to contribute towards building strong communities by helping TSA to give hope to others. The Kettle Assistant position is a short-term contract position. The successful candidate is responsible for the oversight of kettle counting, preparing deposits and filling out statistics for each Kettle location.
The target hiring range for this position is $18.25 to $22.23 with a maximum of $26.20. Placement in the salary range will be based on factors such as market conditions, internal equity, and candidate experience, skills, and qualifications relevant to the role.
