The Salvation Army Canada and Bermuda Territory is seeking a Kettle Campaign Assistant on a short-term contract. You will oversee kettle counting, deposits, and statistics for each location while ensuring secure handling of donations and compliance with cash policies.
Responsibilities include training volunteers, scheduling counts, coordinating with staff, and assisting with recruitment. A basic computer skill set and reliable transportation are required.

The Salvation Army Christmas Kettle Campaign is part of a century old tradition to contribute towards building strong communities by helping TSA to give hope to others. The Kettle Assistant position is a short-term contract position. The successful candidate is responsible for the oversight of kettle counting, preparing deposits and filling out statistics for each Kettle location.
Incumbent may perform all, some, or similar range of duties as below.
Collect donations in accordance to policies and procedures ensuring donations are always kept secure.
Work environment is a typical office environment and typically in malls/stores
A minimum of one year of related experience or working in customer service
Money handling experience is an asset
Related experience is an asset.
The target hiring range for this position is $18.25 to $22.23 with a maximum of $26.20.
Placement in the salary range will be based on factors such as market conditions, internal equity, and candidate experience, skills, and qualifications relevant to the role.
