Job summary

Mecka is seeking a Junior IT & Security Operations Specialist to support Windows and Mac laptops, manage employee devices and access, and learn to review routine security findings. You’ll work with the Security/IT Lead to handle everyday tech needs and escalate complex issues as you grow.

You will be guided through documented procedures, gain exposure to Google Workspace, Linux, Ansible, Elastic, and IAM tooling, and help maintain asset records and clear setup guides as part of a growing

Qualifications

• Up to two years IT support experience.
• Comfort troubleshooting Windows or macOS problems.
• Basic understanding of user accounts, permissions, networking, and safe handling of company data.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and support Windows and Mac laptops, including setup, software installation, inventory, and troubleshooting.
• Help onboard and offboard employees by following account, device, and access procedures.
• Respond to employee support requests clearly and promptly; document fixes and elevate issues you cannot resolve.
• Check endpoint enrollment, software updates, patch status, and routine vulnerability findings.
• Review routine security alerts and logs, record relevant details, and elevate suspicious activity.
• Maintain clear setup guides, asset records, and operational checklists.
