Job summary

Finning is seeking Journeyperson Electricians to service, troubleshoot, and repair heavy electrical and power generation equipment across Saskatchewan. The role supports dual ticket paths and advancement in power systems, engines, and related machinery.

Qualifications

• Journeyperson Electrician certification (Red Seal preferred).
• Heavy Duty Mechanic with power generation experience is an asset.
• Power Systems experience; capable of troubleshooting mechanically governed fuel delivery systems.

Responsibilities

• Service, troubleshoot and repair heavy electrical and power generation equipment.
• Perform maintenance and overhauls on natural gas and diesel engines, compressors, generators and attachments.
• Load test power generation equipment.
• Service, troubleshoot, repair and rebuild mechanical equipment (including general maintenance to full rebuilds of CAT engines).
• Assist in fulfilling our customer service commitment.

If you’re a Journeyperson Heavy-Duty Mechanic or Journeyperson Electrician with hands-on power generation experience, Finning can support you on your journey to get your Dual Ticket.

• Wage: $42.62 - $51.57
• Additional Premiums available per hour: $3.25 (continuous shift), $5.00 (field), $3.25 (dual ticket)

Job Description:

• Valid Class 5 Drivers licenseGenerator experience would be an asset

• A condition of employment may include the ability to obtain Customer Site access (Drug & Alcohol, fitness testing)
• A condition of employment is the ability to be fit tested and the ability to wear a respirator
• 3rd or 4th Year Apprentices may be considered
• Equivalent Tickets with power experience will be considered
