Job summary

Finning International is hiring Journeyperson Electricians for power generation roles across Saskatchewan, including Saskatoon and surrounding areas. You will work on heavy electrical and power generation equipment, with opportunities to obtain Dual Ticket through company support.

Qualifications

• Journeyperson Electrician Certification (Red Seal preferred).
• Heavy Duty Mechanic with power generation experience is an asset.
• Power Systems experience; able to troubleshoot mechanically governed fuel delivery systems.
• Valid Class 5 Drivers license.
• Generator experience is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Service, troubleshoot and repair heavy electrical and power generation equipment.
• Perform maintenance and overhauls on natural gas and diesel engines, compressors, generators and attachments.
• Load test power generation equipment.
• Service, troubleshoot, repair and rebuild mechanical equipment (including general maintenance to full rebuilds of CAT engines).
• Assist in fulfilling our customer service commitment.
