Job summary

Finning in Saskatchewan is actively seeking Journeyperson Electricians for permanent roles in power generation. You will service, troubleshoot and repair heavy electrical and power generation equipment across natural gas and diesel engines and CAT machinery.

Qualified candidates bring Red Seal or Journeyperson status, plus hands-on experience with power systems and preventative maintenance. The position offers competitive hourly wages, strong benefits, and paid training opportunities.

Qualifications

• Journeyperson Electrician Certification required or Red Seal preferred.
• Heavy Duty Mechanic with power generation experience is an asset.
• Power systems experience and troubleshooting fuel delivery systems.

Responsibilities

• Service, troubleshoot and repair heavy electrical and power generation equipment.
• Perform maintenance and overhauls on natural gas and diesel engines, compressors, generators and attachments.
• Load test power generation equipment.
• Service, troubleshoot, repair and rebuild mechanical equipment (including general maintenance to full rebuilds of CAT engines).
• Assist in fulfilling our customer service commitment.

Job Description:

• Valid Class 5 Drivers licenseGenerator experience would be an asset

• 3rd or 4th Year Apprentices may be considered
• Equivalent Tickets with power experience will be considered
