Job summary

Apex Systems is seeking an IT Project Manager to support integration of acquired companies, optimize program management release processes, and improve operational efficiency in Vancouver, BC. This is a 14-month contract with hybrid work arrangements (onsite Tuesdays).

You will manage end-to-end release processes, coordinate security and compliance activities, and lead cross-functional teams to deliver value while aligning with product vision and goals.

Qualifications

• Strong program management fundamentals and ability to drive to closure without formal authority.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication, including executive presentations.
• Comfortable working in a greenfield environment with ambiguity and writing processes.
• Collaborative, low-ego approach with multicultural, distributed teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end project release process.
• Coordinate security scans, license validations, and third-party approvals.
• Lead projects, gather requirements, identify risks, and develop timelines.
• Prepare program performance reports for executives and stakeholders.
• Create JIRA reports for transparency and status visibility.
• Drive continuous improvement using retrospectives and metrics.
