Job summary

CDC Computers is a locally owned technology company providing sales, service, installation, and training. We are looking for a reliable and professional IT Installer / Field Technician to handle on-site installations, basic networking, and client support.

The role primarily works in the field with some shop assistance as needed, offering a mix of field installation work and shop support and room to grow in a long-standing local company.

Qualifications

• Experience with on-site hardware and software installations.
• Ability to troubleshoot desktop, printer, and network issues.
• Comfort with basic networking tasks and client communication.

Responsibilities

• Perform on-site hardware, software, and basic network installations.
• Set up computers, peripherals, and endpoint devices at client locations.
• Run cabling and complete straightforward installs professionally.
• Provide remote or on-site support for business and managed clients.
• Assist walk-in clients, triage calls, or light bench work during slower periods.
• Help with shipping and receiving when required.
• Document work clearly in the ticketing system.
• Communicate status and next steps with clients and the internal team.
• Maintain a professional appearance and reliable schedule for client visits.
