Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a Data Center Technician II to support data center and critical infrastructure projects for a growing IT services organization. The role emphasizes hands-on work in data centers, telecom, or IT infrastructure environments with field-based responsibilities.

You will install, maintain, and troubleshoot equipment, perform structured cabling, rack and stack activities, and work with customers and vendors to ensure successful project delivery.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in data center, telecom, IT infrastructure, or related technical environment.
• Hands-on cabling, hardware installations, and troubleshooting experience.
• Able to work independently with limited supervision.
• Strong ability to read technical drawings and diagrams.
• Willingness to travel extensively and work in field-based environments.

Responsibilities

• Participate in on-call support and overtime as project demands require.

What You'll Do:

Required Qualifications:

Preferred Qualifications:

• Associate degree, technical certification, military experience, or equivalent hands-on experience

• OSHA, NFPA 70E, or other safety-related certifications
