Job summary

GreenShield IT is seeking an IT Change Manager to lead enterprise change and release management across applications and infrastructure. The role chairs the Change Advisory Board (CAB), drives governance, and partners with cross‑functional teams to balance innovation with stability.

The position requires 5–7 years in IT Change and Release Management, solid ITIL knowledge, and experience with tools such as Ivanti HEAT or Azure DevOps. English proficiency is essential; French is a plus.

Qualifications

• University degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• 5-7 years of IT Change and Release Management experience.
• Demonstrated knowledge of IT Change Management principles and methodologies.
• Proven CAB implementation/management experience in mid-to-large enterprise.
• Experience with change management and release tools such as Ivanti HEAT, Azure DevOps or similar.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to plan and maintain schedules.
• Adaptable in changing environments.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Ability to document and enforce governance processes across diverse technical teams.
• Experience in regulated or audit-sensitive environments is a plus.
• Bilingual French/English would be an asset.

Responsibilities

• Oversee enterprise IT change and release management across applications and infrastructure.
• Chair and facilitate the Change Advisory Board (CAB) with timely reviews and approvals.
• Maintain CAB governance, including charter, roles, workflows, and procedures.
• Manage end-to-end change workflows: submission, review, approval, scheduling, communication, validation.
• Develop and maintain change schedules, dashboards, and reporting.
• Communicate upcoming changes, timelines, risks, and impacts to stakeholders.
• Serve as central contact and escalation for IT changes.
• Ensure CAB representation across IT domains and training.
• Review change requests for completeness, approvals, and audit readiness.
• Support Incident and Problem processes, including root cause analysis for change-related incidents.
• Identify process gaps and drive continuous improvement.
• Maintain change documentation, metrics, and quality indicators.
• Ensure compliance with audit, risk, and regulatory requirements; support audits.
• Train and coach IT staff on change management best practices.
