Canadian Tire Corporation is seeking an experienced leader to own enterprise-wide technology change oversight across Stores, applications, infrastructure and cloud. You will coordinate schedules, establish governance, and track incidents to improve deployment success and store stability.

The role requires 7+ years in change/release management, strong governance and risk management skills, and the ability to influence stakeholders across a large retail technology ecosystem.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in release management, change management, technology governance, or enterprise program delivery.
• Strong understanding of release management, environment management, deployment planning, and operational risk management.
• Strong understanding of store operations and frontline impacts of technology change.
• Demonstrated success coordinating multiple teams and resolving competing priorities across large portfolios.
• Experience identifying change collisions, deployment risks, and interdependencies across technology ecosystems.
• Strong analytical and decision-making skills with the ability to balance speed, risk, and operational stability.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all organizational levels.

Responsibilities

• Own enterprise-wide technology change oversight impacting Stores across multiple domains.
• Identify and proactively resolve change conflicts, collisions, and dependencies.
• Coordinate change schedules and deployment timing across delivery teams to reduce risk.
• Establish governance and readiness reviews for high-risk changes.
• Maintain an integrated enterprise change calendar for visibility into planned activities.
• Lead cross-functional reviews and escalations to address risks and decisions.
• Track and analyze change-related incidents to improve coordination and deployment success.
• Reduce incidents from conflicting changes and improve store stability.
• Improve rollout predictability by coordinating infra, app, and operational changes.
• Increase deployment readiness through planning and risk assessment.
• Build confidence in modernization programs by managing change impacts.
• Enhance issue prevention and resolution via centralized visibility.
• Achieve consistent store and dealer experience through disciplined governance.
